Upgrading to LED

Are you thinking of upgrading your lighting to LED? We can help you not only save money but keep your family and property safe from a potential fire hazard

LED stands for Light Emitting Diodes which in layman's terms means that they don't have the filament that other bulbs have that often burns out and requires regular bulb replacement. The fact that these bulbs don't have this filament means that their lifespan is much greater than other bulb types. Having a longer lifespan means much less cost for buying new bulbs and the great convenience of not having to drag out the ladder and fumble around to try to figure out how to replace the bulb, or call the electrician to change your light bulbs for you, especially if you are unable to or they are in hard to reach places. Are you considering upgrading your current lighting to the new LED type lighting? Is your house or business full of halogen downlights? Did you know that upgrading your lights to LED lights not only makes them more energy efficient but is a safer fire option for your home as halogen lighting poses a fire risk.

Did you know that halogen downlights are a fire risk for your premises?  These types of lights produce a large amount of heat which can ignite a fire in the roof space especially if your insulation is near the fitting or if a lovely little pest in the roof space has made a nest up there. Replacing your halogens with LED lights will greatly reduce the fire risk as LED lights do not produce the amount of heat that halogens do.

LED lights are much more energy efficient than other types of lighting. There are several websites that offer an LED savings calculator for you to work out how much it could save you in your power bill. Speaking to the team at The Light House Noosa will give you a much more accurate idea of how LED lighting will benefit your household and help you in the long run to save money.

Although there is the initial outlay of the new lights, the long-term benefits of both a decreased power bill and the fact that you are not having to replace your bulbs as regularly mean that you will end up in front. So have a chat to the team at The Light House Noosa about LED lighting options for your home, office, hotel or workplace.
